Guḍāka means sleep, ignorance(māyā), and īśa means master.

More than 5,000 years ago during the great battle of Mahabharat, Indian warrior prince Arjuna is addressed as Guḍākeśa by Lord Krishna.

Under the spiritual guidance of Lord Krishna &  by virtue of being a great yogi and devotee, Arjuna had successfully conquered ignorance covering his consciousness and had become a mindful warrior, cognizant of his true identity and purpose.

Jump forward to date. Ironically, in today’s information age our human race is still engulfed in ignorance of a unique kind.

This is the ignorance about true nature of human being and our reason of existence. Many of us live our entire life without ever questioning ourselves –

what is the purpose of life? how can we lead a meaningful life?
